11 - the tiger#039;s nest
Today#039;s final bouquet
We are going to the tiger#039;s nest also called takstang here
Why Tigerrsquo;s Nest? It is a legend about a great master of Tibetan Buddhism from the 8th century who is called Guru Rinpoche or Padmasambava by his Sanskrit name.
nbsp;
Legend has it that his wife one day changed into a tigress. Climbing on his back, the master (considered a reincarbation of the Buddha) flew away and landed on what would become the tiger#039;s nest. The master taught there and meditated for a long time
To get there, a beautiful walk of almost 3 hours to reach the top (650m difference in altitude. 2h30 to go back down)
It is the most famous site in Bhutan.
A picnic awaits us for lunch
And the. In the evening to cap off the day we attend some folk dances around a wood fire!
Vous terminez votre séjour en apothéose.
Les photos sont toujours aussi belles et les sites impressionnants. Quel bel album vous avez constitué !
