September 28 - departure for Pokhara
Today is a day of travel.
We take a bus that goes from Kathmandu to Pokhara which is a small "green" town near a beautiful lake and at the foot of the mountains. A place to find a little peace and quiet, after all that#039;s also what holidays are about.
We arrived at our destination almost 3 hours late compared to the usual schedule. There were a lot of people leaving Kathmandu, the bus couldn#039;t even move forward! The roads in Nepal are also quite special, there must be as many potholes as flat parts, that#039;s saying something! But hey we arrived safely.
A second little surprise awaits us on arrival, our hotel which was supposed to be quiet, is partying tonight, music at the top of its lungs. The boss promises that it will be over at 11pm. As I write these lines, it is 9:24 pm waiting in a cafe for the end of the party to go to bed!
Amazing to see how we are sometimes tickled in our desires! It builds patience! Hehe
I put some photos for you stolen from the bus on the way
Merci Laurent :-) Je découvre le Népal, c’est super!
nous voilà revenus de Bourges, et je reprends la lecture . bises
