August 5: 2nd day of sunshine
Today 2nd day of superb good weather
After a lie-in and an equally hearty breakfast, we are going to do our 2nd hike through the forest.
The following photos will give an overview. Along the way we come across reindeer, squirrels, etc. The reindeer here are a bit like the cows back home. They come and go in semi-freedom but we were told that they belong to breeders. but it#039;s always impressive to come across them on the paths with their large antlers. They are quite shy and do not allow themselves to be approached easily.
in the evening, at dinner lasagna with wild mushrooms (picked up by the owner). I wasn#039;t very reassured because we saw mushrooms of all colors during the walk and I#039;m not sure they were all edible (see photos)
during dinner we also met a young german woman "constanza" who is doing a summer internship in finland for her studies in "ecology".
After dinner, as a digestive walk, we take the house dog for a walk! her name: ilona
