August 9: 1st excursion to Inari
First day of exploration in Inari. The weather is much better, the temperature climbs well up to 18.19 degrees A real heatwave for here After breakfast (still in the form of a large buffet, in fact it allows us to make sandwiches for lunch!), stroll in the city. In the city we come across a herd of reindeer wandering around and not hesitating to block traffic to cross the street. We visit the village#039;s Lutheran church, all made of wood inside and out! I forgot to mention that the village has at least 400 inhabitants, a real megacity! Lots of hiking trails leave from the village, we take one in the afternoon. In the evening, returning from dinner, in the parking lot of the Saacute;mi center building (the majority population in Lapland) a white reindeer is resting peacefully!
