08 Bhoumtang, eastern Bhutan
Today, departure at 8 a.m. for Boumthang, eastern Bhutan.
A mountain road with marvelous landscapes, a pass at more than 3000 meters.
Almost three hours later we reached one of the oldest monasteries in Bhutan, the oldest part dates from the 7th century!
Dedicated to Padmasambhava or guru rinpoche
A little further, and after a short walk in the countryside, another magnificent monastery, the oldest part of which dates from the 17th century.
The brother of karma who accompanies us on this trip, is a lama in this monastery and welcomes us.
The temple is magnificent. a pudjaA meditation, Precious moments in privileged places
In the evening we celebrate in song the birthday of Pierre who blew out all his candles today!
