Today we are going to a place on the outskirts of the capital, about 30km away, very well known for being a superb viewpoint called "Nagarkhot" on the Himalayan mountains. It takes about 1h30 by car to get there.

The journey times are very long, the state of the roads is disastrous. We were told that the power of the absolute monarchy that preceded the current power had not financed these infrastructures, corruption and other aberrations had left the money only in the accounts of a few large families and not to develop the country ... Things are improving now but it is very long, the costs of building a road are here 5 times more expensive than at home because of the relief and climatic complexities. but Nepal is developing

As was the case for the Anapurnas, no luck, the weather is quite cloudy and prevents us from seeing the Himalayan barrier. It doesn#039;t matter, the air is fresh and there is a forest where we can walk. We are here at 2800 meters above sea level
