Paya means pagoda!
This morning we visit the most beautiful and perhaps also the oldest pagodas in Mandalay. They are located at the foot of the hill that we climbed the day before yesterday.
One of them is even made entirely of finely carved teak wood! Superb and it#039;s my favorite!
In the morning on the way to the pagodas we meet a monk named Ananda.
He came to us to practice his English! It was very nice !
After the pagodas we walk along the ramparts of the royal palace before arriving at a Thai restaurant for a well-deserved lunch!
