August 8: departure for Inari
Today departure for another village in Lapland: Inari which is about 40 kilometers from Ivalo.
After a very warm goodbye with Tool from the Husky Guesthouse, we take a taxi to the bus station.
Our bus is at 1 p.m. As we are in Scandinavia, punctuality is essential. He leaves right on time! curiousity: there is a huge dog on the bus (Pyrnee dog style)!
We arrive in Inari less than an hour later.
Inari is on the edge of one of the largest lakes in Finland. it is quite a tourist center.
We are going towards the Kultahovi hotel (see photo). The small disappointment is that the rooms are not great: clean but small and above all not soundproofed! but OK.
The hotel is on the edge of the river which flows into the lake. in the hotel and on each television we broadcast live underwater images filmed in the river! we can see the fish evolving there! funny
The weather today is quite cold: only 8 degrees and on top of that it#039;s raining! hehe it#039;s not the French Riviera, it#039;s the North Pole!
we only take a few steps to discover the village while waiting for some clearings to walk a little more.
