August 8, 2009 - Rest and Changspa
Today is a day of rest and relaxation!
the vacation within the vacation.
We even go for a nice walk in the countryside near Leh.
we pass some isolated #039;guesthouses#039; in the countryside and we say to ourselves that we were going to go there
for the end of our stay in Ladakh just to be very calm.
while walking, we come across a somewhat isolated monastery completely by chance:
the samkar gompa
super pretty
a nice surprise...
in the evening at the restaurant, we meet a French couple who
cross all of Asia by bike.
They share their experience with us across China, Iran, Pakistan etc....
