August 13, 2009 - Leh Palace and Dance Festival
Today on the program a little culture
After a pretty cool start to the day, remember, we reduced the pace
we decide to attend a folk dance festival this afternoon which has impressed us
from leh palace
it is a group of dancers of about 5 men and 5 women who dance to tunes
traditional Ladakhi accompanied by 3 musicians...
these are very soft music and dances
I took some videos that I will edit into a little film at the start of the school year!
a little anecdote, since some fans of this blog told me that they appreciated (especially when
I criticize my compatriots!! eh Paul!! ;)
there were a 20th of Western spectators at the show
when the person in charge of the show came among the spectators to ask for a small
obol (150 rupees... or 2 euros), there are some who got up and left like...
This is an attitude that I will never understand!
Some Indians on vacation were there too, let#039;s just say they didn#039;t want to pay either!
finally.... good people...
Good
it#039;s time for me to go to dinner
Itrsquo;s 7:20 p.m.!!

Un petit coucou
Salut mon Laurent,
Alain.
