October 6- travel to Lumbini
Today the whole day is dedicated to the bus trip from Pokhara to Lumbini.
We go down to the south of the country. The journey is quite exhausting: almost 9 hours by bus! We go from mountain landscapes to tropical landscapes. The views during the journey are wonderful.
We finally arrive in Lumbini around 6pm.
Lumbini is a sacred site of Buddhism: it is the birthplace of the Buddha. I will tell you the story in the following days!
