October 14 - Patan durbar square
Today#039;s last excursion of the trip, we are going to Patan and is a southern district of Kathmandu. It is also the site of an old palace and temple in woodwork. We had seen a similar place at the start of the trip, this one was much less damaged by the earthquake of 2015 even if several wooden temples several centuries old were destroyed here too.
During our visit, we are attracted by the sounds of flutes and drums: a whole procession takes place going to each of the temples, we are told that it is the party of a couple who are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary! Quite simply, Hehe, maybe 100 or 150 people follow the procession!
