Wednesday July 16, 1997 - Mount Kinabalu
Today on the program we leave for the day towards
from Kota Kinabalu but to go to the surrounding mountains:
towards the highest peak in Borneo: Mount Kinabalu
We leave there in a 4/4 driven by one of the company's drivers.
we arrived 4 hours later after a few winding roads: beware of bad weather
transport!
The air is fresh and restores a little oxygen after the stifling equatorial heat
on the side
We take a hotel located in the natural park!

In the afternoon, we begin a walk on the path that leads to the summit
passing by some famous waterfalls
Unfortunately, Alex and his family are not great walkers.
and do not wish to go to the top.
They just take a few steps at the start of the path, take the photo
in front of the falls before returning to the hotel!
