Friday July 11, 1997 - sandakan
After a good lie-in, we leave for the airport
or we take a Malaysian Airlines plane which takes us
brought to the second largest Malaysian city in Borneo: Sandakan.
The flight lasts just 45 minutes
So it's there, in Sandakan, that Alex's mother lives and it's the town where her family owns
a factory, a spare parts store, etc.
Alex's family lives in a superb villa in an upscale neighborhood of
town, on the heights.
The house is superb
Evening falls, we stroll in a night market,
we nibble on famous “chicken wings” before dinner at home
