11 return to Thimphu
The journey is coming to an end!
We are back in the capital Thimphu. We still have a few more visits to do!
First, an immense Buddha financed by Taiwan which overlooks the city. Stunning ! Sonam tells us that itrsquo;s a bit like Disney Land buthan! Itrsquo;s still very beautiful!
In the afternoon, visit the capital#039;s dzong (fortress). There are 20 in all of Bhutan. We witness the lowering of the flag in a small ceremony that has nothing to envy of the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace!
In the evening we are invited to Karma who organized our entire Bhutanese trip
