Today last day in Mandalay.
Tomorrow destination Kalaw, small town a little further south.
It#039;s a vacation spot that the English settlers appreciated for a bit of freshness!
Bus booked from the guesthouse for tomorrow morning.
In the meantime, this morning stroll in the Indian district of Mandalay with a visit to 2 Hindu temples (ganesh the elephant-headed god), a Catholic cathedral (ste marie) and a pagoda so as not to lose good habits. If thatrsquo;s not multicultural!
To stay in the mood, have lunch in a Nepalese restaurant then return to the hotel which is a real oasis to rest in a quiet area and enjoy the afternoon.
